Subject: sounds ok to me
Im listening to the Crazy Fingers right now and it sounds fine. Does anybody remember Deadhead Elvis at these shows.

Subject: And for the rest of you who aren't snobs....
I've been collecting Dead shows since the early 80's. THIS IS BY NO MEANS A LOUSY RECORDING. Yes, it is a second or third generation cassette copy off of a DAT soundboard. Yes, there is a touch of tape WOW here & there but it's HARDLY enough to get all balled up about, and LIGHT YEARS from the worst I've ever heard. There are no other soundboards of this show available in circulation, and the audience sources I've heard all run a bit muddy. If you were at this show, or just like it, or both, you'd be hard pressed to find a better sounding recording.

Subject: What is this?
Why even post these warbly recordings? This is not quality, and seems more a waste of time and space.

Listen to the beginning of Crazy Fingers. The quality is completely twisted up. Don't bother.
